Frequently asked questions
Real Heroes is the story about a boy who tries to go down in history. The only problem for him is that he lives in the most peaceful and civilized era the world has ever known. It's a golden age, unless you're looking for wars to fight and monsters to slay. The Kid's attempts at getting himself noticed don't always go the way he thinks they will.
I ship to the United States. I send books via Media Mail, which usually takes 2-8 business days (though shipping to Alaska and Hawaii takes longer). It costs $7 to ship a single book via Media Mail, and $2 for each additional book in the same order. Goo Plushes cost $8 shipping for up to the three plushes per order (the rate jumps once the package goes over a pound). T-shirts take 1-2 weeks to arrive after ordering.
Real Heroes is for readers aged 10 and up. The vocabulary used is too advanced for younger kids. In terms of how appropriate the material is, it's about on par with 90s Disney movies or something like Batman the Animated Series. If you're ok with your kids watching that you should be ok with your kids reading Real Heroes.
